The Great Winter Wood Run

What began as a sensible plan to bring firewood home has somehow become the most entertaining job of the winter.

The sled is stacked impossibly high, two determined friends pull with everything they have, and one very confident passenger has decided that the top of the woodpile is the best seat in Sweden. Around them, laughter spreads as family members attempt to keep the operation under control.

Then there is the dog — proudly carrying a log of his own, absolutely convinced that he is doing more work than everyone else combined.

The Great Winter Wood Run celebrates the soul of countryside life: hard work made lighter by friendship, humor and the simple pleasure of accomplishing something together. Surrounded by Falun-red farmhouses, deep snow and glowing winter sunlight, an ordinary chore becomes a memory the family will laugh about for years.
