Some of the best journeys are the ones you never planned.

The day had begun as a simple summer drive through the Swedish countryside. The old American classic was polished, the windows were down, and a group of friends had set off with music, laughter and no particular reason to hurry.

Then, somewhere along a quiet country road, they spotted something unexpected.

A little goat was standing completely alone beside the road.

They slowed down, stopped the car and stepped outside to investigate. Nobody knew where it had come from, and the goat seemed remarkably unconcerned about the situation. In fact, the moment they opened the door, their new acquaintance appeared to make a decision of its own.

It was coming with them.

Soon the goat was sitting proudly on the red leather back seat as though it had been travelling in classic American cars its entire life.

The group continued down the road until they reached the nearest farm, where their arrival immediately caused laughter and confusion. Friends gathered around the car, the farm dog came over to inspect the mysterious passenger, and an elderly farmer watched the spectacle with an expression suggesting that perhaps he knew exactly who the little escape artist belonged to.

For a brief moment, the magnificent classic car was no longer the centre of attention.

The goat had completely stolen the show.
