The large Falun-red workshop is the heart of this little world. Tools cover the benches, spare wheels wait against the walls and trophies remember races already won. Here, engines are rebuilt late into the evening, damaged panels are repaired after hard battles and new ideas are turned into racing machines before the next weekend arrives.

Yet outside the garage, everything is peaceful.

Flowers fill the gardens. The Swedish flag moves gently above the property. Red cottages overlook the sparkling lake while warm sunlight passes through the trees. It is a place where the intensity of folkrace and the tranquility of the Swedish countryside somehow belong together perfectly.

Tomorrow, these cars may be covered in gravel and fighting wheel-to-wheel for victory.
